Another gorgeous day a great day to take photographs but unfortunately i will be working in the world of Toyota. The plan is to go to Blackheath tommorow and do a shoot. I was there a few weeks ago trying to take photos owhen the London marathon kicked off from there but the rain was a big obstacle and that shoot had to be abandoned. I did get some photo's of the air balloon's which i will post when i get a quiet moment.
The focal point of Blackheath is the Centre known as the village. Blackheath got its name from the heath being used as a 14th century burial ground.
A bit of interesting information about Blackheath was the fact that a gentleman by the name of Montague John Druitt actually lived in Blackheath and he was thought to have commited all the Jack the Ripper murders. He was found floating in the Thames and thought to have committed suicide, no other murders were committed after his death. Isn't it funny that no one really mentions this man when the topic of Jack the Ripper comes up ? Anyway he used to live at number 9 Eliot Place so i will be finding that address if it still exists and taking photographs for anyone out there who's interested.
I will also get some shots of the All Saint's Parish Church. It's going to be a lovely weekend enjoy every minute of it.

Visit to East London 19th May 2010
Morning everyone and what a lovely morning it was lol, its all turned overcast and grey again, compared to about 6:00 this morning which was lovely and sunny unleashing that feeling of its great to be alive.
Took Nico the rotty out around the park and noticed that all the squirrels babies are running all over the place. Had a bit of a nightmarish time yesterday afternoon but it all turned out fine in the end. I travelled to east london to the old Abbey Mills sevage Pump site in Newham, this building is so beautiful even though its seen better days. The Mill was built in 1860 to carry the increasing amount of sewage produced in London away from the center of the city. I will post more on the Abbey when i post the pictures. It was a difficult site to take photographs as there was double mesh fences around with barbed wire everywhere. Might have to do a bit of photoshop with some of the pictures to make them viewable.
Anyway the journey to the site was quite interesting and for some bazaar reason whenever i stopped in traffic i was looking at a underground station, so i got out my little point and shoot and snapped the stations, i am sure there are underground freaks out there who would want to see the fronts of the stations so i will post them aswell lol.

Photographing London
Its been a tough week guys, not been well and been off work for a couple of days.
I've decided to start blogging and build a website to show off my photographic skills.
Being election week did not help and that morning of the election i took Nico my 2 year old Rottweiler out for an early morning walk and just as i was approaching my drive i could see one of the election workers pining polling station signs, she took one look at Nico and i could see visible panic and fright come over her, its so funny to see people's reaction to him.
To me he is a cuddly bear on 4 legs and a big softy, if your a stranger dont try and touch him lol.
Anyway she ran inside with panic lol, i got Nico inside and then had my shower put my office kit on and strolled into the polling station to vote labour.
I said to her, was it you running from me or the rotty she looked at me not recognising me and said he put the fear of god into me lol.
Why did i vote ? it looks like my vote has caused this damn hung goverment.
I am glad its over and we dont have to listen to the lies any more we've just got to start paying the price for who we voted for or who we did'nt vote for in my case.
Being of an older generation makes me look and understand how the young can get sucked into politics and believe that they can change things when to be perfectly honest nothing changes, we just pay more taxes and thats a fact.
The young are niave they believe the hype tend to be more trusting than some of us well seasoned electors !
Politics is like religion and they work hand in hand as a way to control the people, this is why the old monachs of history tried to control the church.
Anyway thats enough of me going on about control, I need to make sure that i have complete control over Nico hence why i had his nuts cut off this week! poor boy looked like he had his nuts cut off when he came round from the anesthitic lol he did have his nuts cut off.
When he sees the ladies now he looks at them and says damn you dont look shaggable any more lol.
Being a responsible dog owner it had to be done, he must have been feeling rather pent up with sexual disire i could'nt let him go through the pain of not having a bunkup it must have been rather frustrating for him.
Lets face it it's not as if dogs can masturbate lol and he was getting so bostoruous and i want to have complete control over him, there is no margin for error with a rottweiler, if he makes a mistake and nips someone is would be major surgery so lets make sure that he has no reason to be aggressive towards man or beast, bless him he's a softy.
I will post pictures of him here so you guys can let me know what a handsome specimen Nico is.
I've been off work with an aliment that's gonna need surgery. But hey life goes on and i am not going to let anything get me down.
I've been booked on this weekend photography course with Morley College http://www.morleycollege.ac.uk/ taking pictures in london and i am getting damn excited.
Both myself and my partner whom i will call LadyX for future reference went on this course and what an enjoyable time we both had, we were split up into 3 groups and i fell into the conceptual group and we decided to visit to the new olympic staduim being built in Stratford, the whole idea of taking pictures there was to get a feeling of the before and after the Stadium is built, we were going to also visit an old mill that resided not too far from the Staduim site in east london.
We arrived at the Olympic site at about 13:00 and the weather was a bit overcast but the rain held off giving us enough time to take some pretty decent shots, i actually used my tripod to capture a couple of shots of Julia Horbaschk tutor and professional photographer, using a long exposure, these were difficult shots to take as the light was changing by the minute and made exposure setting damn hard, managed to get a couple of shots but not really happy with them. Lady X got some really nice shots of the break dancers doing jumps and the graffiti artists doing there thing, will post some of her shots.
I will update these shots ASAP. We actually run out of time as Julie Horbaschk had planned to go to Abbey Lane in east london to take pictures of an old Mill that was going to be demolished very shortly.
I will be trying to get to this mill this week to take some shots.
I have undertaken my own project to take photos of all the listed buildings in london that are due to be demolished in the near future, this is an exciting task and should get some interesting shots on my treks to the sites.
Hope i have'nt bored you too much and i hope you will return to read and look at my photographs, leaving comment on my photos\writing would be useful, i am aware that the internet marketing community is an exciting arena for finding out about all aspects of photography and i hope to one day use my skills if possible with Istock pictures. If you've had any similiar experiences to myself i would also like to hear them.
Until next week take care and have a good week
